Beau Constantia Pas de Nom White 2016

Beau Constantia Pas de Nom White 2016

The PAS DE NOM WHITE is a clear wine has a light straw colour with a hint of lime green. It boasts uplifting aromas of pear and tropical green melon on the nose, with a creamy, full-flavoured palate that is perfectly balanced by a refreshing minerality. This elegant offering is rich and vibrant with a long finish. Drink 2017 to 2019.

Origin: Constantia
Blend: 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Viognier
Winemaker: Justin van Wyk
Alcohol: 14%
Total Acid: 5,3 g/l
Residial Sugar: 3,4 g/l
Closure: Screw Cap
Vinification: To retain the fresh and delicate aromas that have become characteristic of our cool climate vineyards, the Sauvignon Blanc component was fermented at a cool temperature in a stainless steel tank. The Viognier fraction, however, was barrel-fermented in order to add some weighty texture to the vibrantly fresh medium. The wine was then allowed to remain on the lees for 5 months before it was blended and lightly filtered prior to bottling.
Food Suggestion Summer salads, grilled Scampis and Antipasti.
