A characterful Shiraz from Stellenbosch with classic spice and clear structure. The nose shows dark berries, plum and black cherries, complemented by pepper, herbs and fine toasted aromas. On the palate it is juicy and balanced, with ripe tannins, lively acidity and a harmonious, dry finish. A stylish Shiraz that convincingly combines power and elegance. Vinification:
The Shiraz matures for 18 months in oak barrels, with Alto using a combination of first-, second- and third-fill barrels. This differentiated barrel maturation gives the wine structure and spice without masking the fruit. The aim is a balanced Shiraz with depth, elegance and a clear sense of origin from the slopes of Helderberg Mountain.
