A concentrated Syrah from Franschhoek with aromas of violets, plums, raspberries and vanilla. On the palate it is complex and multi-layered, with attractive fruit, spicy accents, finely integrated tannins and a juicy, long finish.
 
Vinification:
Fermentation and maturation took place in French oak barrels, with an average ageing period of 21 months. The wine was bottled unfiltered and then matured for a further two years in bottle.

festive meat dishes and quiet evenings by the fireplace.
