An intense Pinotage from the Western Cape with aromas of plums, cherries and mulberries, accompanied by warm baking spices. On the palate it shows a juicy fruit core, good concentration, velvety tannins, fine oak spice and a long, dry finish.
 
Vinification:
Fermented in stainless steel and concrete tanks with gentle pump-overs, followed by 16 months of oak ageing, 20% in new French barriques.
 
Pairs well with:
Braised lamb shoulder, duck breast, red cabbage, kimchi and hearty rice dishes.
