A Pinotage from the Robertson Valley with intense coffee and chocolate aromas as well as notes of ripe mulberries, plums and cherries. On the palate it is dry, fruit-driven and approachable, with dark spice and a smooth texture.
 
Vinification:
The grapes were processed in several different batches. Some batches were briefly heated and then fermented, while others were pasteurised and fermented directly on wood. Further batches underwent traditional skin fermentation and maturation in French oak. Malolactic fermentation took place in French oak.
 
Food pairing:
Dark meat, creamy casseroles, rich desserts, blue cheese and Belgian chocolate.
