The nose unfolds with violets, ripe plums and blueberries, complemented by notes of leather, tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate the wine is powerful yet balanced, with ripe tannins, juicy fruit and supporting acidity. The style is concentrated without feeling heavy and finishes long with a spicy character. Vinification:
The Syrah grapes are selectively harvested and traditionally fermented to bring out fruit, spice and structure with precision. The wine then matures for 12 months in barrel, gaining additional depth, supple tannins and aromatic complexity. Maturation is geared towards balance, intensity and drinkability.
