This Cabernet Sauvignon from Benguela Cove's Vinography project is deep, structured and clearly defined. The nose reveals blackcurrant, dark cherry and ripe plum, accompanied by notes of cedarwood, graphite and fine spice. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and precise, with ripe, well-integrated tannins and a cool, maritime freshness. Extended maturation adds further depth and complexity. A classic, age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon with excellent ageing potential. Winemaker: Johann Fourie
Vinification:
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are selectively harvested and traditionally fermented to bring out structure and aroma with precision. The wine then matures for more than 20 months in French oak, adding depth, fine oak notes and a firm framework for long development. The maturation is designed to promote longevity, balance and clarity.
