Boplaas Cape Vintage has a black-violet colour. The nose shows cherries, plums, blackberries, violets, pepper, spices and dark chocolate. On the palate, the same intense fruit aromas are complemented by soft tannins and a long, rich finish. Western Cape. Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional (80%); Tinta Barocca (18%); Souzao (2%). Vinification:
Boplaas Cape Vintage was fermented in traditional open fermenters and matured for 12 months in Portuguese barriques.
