The wine shows a deep ruby-red colour and an intense nose of dark, ripe fruit, dominated by blackberry, mulberry and juicy plum, underpinned by fine oak spice. On the palate it offers harmonious richness and medium body. Dark fruit, a hint of cigar box and silky tannins lead to an elegant, long-lasting finish. Winemaker: Roelof Lotriet
 
Vinification:
Matured for 12 months in French oak barrels and then for 3–4 years in bottle to achieve optimum maturity.
