This Pinotage appears deep purple in the glass. The nose unfolds with intense aromas of dark berries, ripe plums and fine notes of vanilla and spice. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, with juicy fruit, well-integrated tannins and a long, balanced finish. A characterful Pinotage with classic South African styling. Vinification:
The grapes are carefully hand-harvested and selected. After controlled fermentation, the single-varietal Pinotage matures for around 18 months in French oak barrels. The measured use of oak gives the wine structure, depth and fine spice without masking the fruit.
