An elegant red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Diemersdal in the Western Cape. The grapes ripen on exposed north-facing slopes in red Hutton soils and benefit from cool Atlantic breezes. In the glass it shows aromas of cherries, mulberries and dark chocolate. On the palate it is powerful yet supple, with fine structure, velvety tannins and a soft, long finish.
 
Vinification:
The grape varieties are vinified separately and then matured for eight months in French oak.

Grilled meat, spicy poultry and roast pork.
