Dornier Moordenaarskloof Tinta Barocca is a full-bodied, aromatic wine with hints of raspberry, mulberry and exotic spices. On the palate the wine is concentrated with richness and structure. The tannins are fine, ripe and creamy and harmonise perfectly with the fruit. The Tinta Barocca has a long, fruity finish.

Vinification:
The grapes are hand-harvested in the cool morning hours at the end of February. They are destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled open fermenters with punch-downs four times a day. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrel, and the wine matures for a total of 17 months in barrel.
