This Syrah from Stellenbosch shows a powerful yet precise style with clear structure and depth. The nose unfolds with dark berries, ripe plums and black cherries, accompanied by spicy notes, pepper and a subtle floral accent. On the palate the wine is dry and concentrated, with ripe tannins, supporting acidity and a dense, harmonious texture. The finish is long, composed and marked by spicy depth. Vinification:
The Syrah grapes are selectively harvested and fermented under temperature control to bring out fruit, spice and structure with precision. A small proportion of Viognier is co-fermented to round out the aromatics. Maturation is geared towards balance, depth and longevity and supports a concentrated, clearly defined style.
