Only the best grapes were selected for Grand Duc Syrah. The nose and palate show dark berry fruit. On the palate, intense fruit aromas are embedded in silky, soft tannins. Fermentation with wild yeasts adds intriguing aromatic complexity. The finish is long and intense and leaves you wanting more. Grand Duc Syrah is a very special wine for very special occasions. Ageing potential: up to 10 years from the vintage.

Vinification:
Only the best grapes were harvested, and 50% were fermented as whole bunches in small open fermenters. The cap was punched down by hand three times a day until fermentation was complete. After pressing, the wine underwent natural malolactic fermentation in barrel. It then matured for 20 months in a selection of new, high-quality French and American oak barrels.
