Groote Post Salt of the Earth Cinsault / Shiraz 2024 from Groote Post Vineyards comes from Darling. This red wine combines dark fruit, spice and a structured style with a distinctly South African character. The blend is made from 60% Cinsault and 40% Shiraz.
 
Vinification:
Shiraz and Cinsault are grown separately, harvested together and co-fermented. The wine then matures for 15 months in new and used 500-litre French oak barrels.
 
Food pairing:
lamb, game, spicy braised dishes and full-flavoured cheese.
