Aerial view of Cape Town at night

La Bri Viognier has aromas of peaches and apricots. The intense fruit flavours on the palate are complemented by velvety, creamy oak notes. The Viognier is complex and elegant with a long, dry finish.

Winemaker:
Irene de Fleuriot

Vinification:
The grapes were chilled overnight to preserve their fruit character during whole-bunch pressing. After settling, the clear juice was racked off the gross lees into two second-fill French oak barrels, one 600 litres and one 300 litres. The wines matured for nine months before bottling.

Food pairing:
Duck with apricot glaze, curries and spicy Indian dishes.
