A limited Cabernet-based blend made from the finest red wine of the vintage. Aromas of vanilla, nutmeg, dark berries, stewed plums and cassis meet dark chocolate, subtle smoky notes and velvety tannins in the long finish. Winemaker: Wynand Lategan
 
Vinification:
Matured for 20 months in first- and second-fill French oak barrels.
 
Food pairing:
Beef rib with a herb and pepper crust, braised lamb shoulder with fennel and orange, or a refined chocolate dessert with a warm chocolate centre, cocoa sorbet, Caramelia aero, white chocolate mousse and cherries.
