Paserene Union 2019 from Paserene comes from Tulbagh. The red wine combines dark fruit, spice and a structured style with a distinctly South African character. The blend or grape variety is shaped by 100% Syrah.
 
Vinification:
The hand-harvested grapes are fermented for around four weeks in open concrete tanks. The wine then matures for 16 months in used French oak barrels and for a further year in bottle. It is bottled unfiltered.
