An organically produced Bordeaux-style red wine from Stellenbosch. In the glass it is deep ruby red with violet highlights. The nose shows cassis, blackberries, black cherries and tobacco, joined by subtle notes of nutmeg and sandalwood. On the palate the wine is complex and fresh, supported by elegant tannins.
 
Vinification:
Fermentation takes place in open concrete tanks. Cabernet Sauvignon matures in first-fill French oak, Cabernet Franc in second- and third-fill French oak. The maturation period is around 18 months.
 
Food pairing:
Braised beef, lamb dishes, game, hearty pasta and mature cheese.
