A South African Bordeaux blend from Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons made with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The nose shows cassis, mint, cedar and dark berry fruit. On the palate the wine is elegant, powerful and structured, with fine-grained tannins, good richness and a long finish.
 
Vinification:
Matured for 18 months in new 225-litre French barriques.
 
Food pairing:
Beef fillet, lamb, game dishes, rich braised dishes and mature hard cheese.
