Spice Route Chakalaka 2022 from Spice Route Winery comes from Swartland. This red wine combines dark fruit, spice and a structured style with a distinctly South African character. The blend is shaped by Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, Grenache, Tannat and Petite Sirah.
 
Vinification:
The grape varieties mature separately for twelve months in American and French oak barrels. After blending, the cuvée is aged again in used oak barrels.
 
Pairs well with:
Braised beef, lamb, game dishes and mature cheese.
