A complex Bordeaux blend from Stellenbosch with structure and elegance. The nose shows dark berries, cassis and ripe plum, interwoven with spice notes such as cinnamon and clove. Fine hints of cedar add further depth. On the palate it is both balanced and powerful, with ripe tannins and a long, refined finish. Vinification:
Fermentation takes place for up to 21 days in stainless steel tanks to bring out the fruit and structure with precision. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures for 18 months in 300-litre French oak barrels. This deliberate maturation gives the blend depth, spicy complexity and harmoniously integrated tannins.
