A deep, dark red with a garnet rim. The nose shows cassis, fennel, dried plum and cinnamon. On the palate the wine has a silky texture, fine tannins and good depth. Aromas of blackberry jam, star anise and juicy cherry compote are balanced by fresh acidity. Merlot contributes lively fruit, Cabernet Sauvignon structure and depth, while Malbec rounds out the blend harmoniously. Winemaker: Elunda Basson
