Diemersfontein

is located in Wellington, South Africa, north-east of Cape Town and is known for its award-winning wines, picturesque landscapes and rich history. Diemersfontein was founded in the 1940s and has been owned by the Sonnenberg family ever since. The winery is particularly famous for its ‘Coffee & Chocolate’ Pinotage, which has gained worldwide recognition for its unusual flavours of coffee and chocolate.

Diemersfontein's vineyards stretch across the rolling hills of the Wellington region, where the Mediterranean climate and different soil types provide ideal conditions for growing grape varieties such as Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier.

In addition to wine production, Diemersfontein is also a popular location where visitors can enjoy wine tastings and relax on the picturesque estate.

The winery is also strongly committed to social projects and sustainability. It runs initiatives to support the local community and pays attention to environmentally friendly cultivation methods in order to protect the ecosystem. Diemersfontein thus stands for high quality, tradition and a strong sense of responsibility.
